Digital media is my creative outlet of choice. Given access to a computer with some basic (and in many cases, FREE) software it is amazing what anyone can make. You no longer need access to art supplies, studio space, specialized equipment or finesse with a pen, pencil or brush to create art. Everyone can create art - it is a matter of deciding to create.
You can find some of my favorite images, photos and writings on this page. Please note that I never claimed to be a "good" artist - just someone that enjoys creating and sharing with others. I encourage you to view and enjoy my creations and use them in your own creations.

I recently took an interest in creating raster and vector graphics after attending some Adobe Creative Suite training. Below you will find some graphics I created that I wanted to share with you.

This vector image is called "Pinto" and I was inspired to create it after visiting the penguin exhibit at The Florida Aquarium. This image was created using the Adobe Ideas app on my iPad. I started with a digital photo and used it to get the general shape and proportions of this beautiful animal. This is my favorite graphics creation to date. Source Image: Pinto.pdf |

This raster image is called "Fun" and was created using Autodesk Sketchbook. When I started experimenting with this software I thought it might be fun to contrast some overlapping circular shapes with bright colors against some structured, drab looking rectangles. Source Image: Fun.jpg |
Photography
I have always been fascinated by digital photography. Taking pictures without "wasting" film combined with the instant gratification of developing images on my computer is simply amazing. I recently upgraded from a point-and-shoot camera to a DSLR. You can view some of my photos here or visit my Flickr Photostream to see the entire collection.
